You can use webhooks to trigger custom actions in any applications that accept webhooks, including Zapier.

Start by creating a new Action and setting up a trigger. Once you do that, you may select Webhooks as a connection.

From there, you'll need to input a url for Sherlock to send the webhook to. We'll get this from Zapier.

Instructions for Zapier

Create a new Zap and choose "Webhooks by Zapier". Choose Catch Hook for your trigger event.

On the next step, you'll see a Custom Webhook URL. This is the URL you'll paste back in Sherlock.

Once you paste the url in Sherlock, you can then send a test to that url in the next step.

Go back to Zapier and "Test and review" the Zap. You'll see sample data that the webhook from Sherlock sent over under "Hook A."

You can finish setting up the rest of the Zap by choosing an app and action event. Keep in mind you can also use data that Sherlock sent over to customize your Zap.

Once you're done, go ahead and set your Zap live.

Then back to Sherlock and set the webhooks Action live as well. You should be good to go!
